about

For whatever reason, you find yourself in a dark alley. But this isn't what's troubling you. The smell of manure and even stranger, the sound of...goats? You walk forward, following the intense odor. You come across a door. The sound is louder, the smell, more pungent. On a shear instinct you try the knob and find that the door is unlocked. Unsure of what you may be about to discover, you enter this dank and dripping hallway, and find, at your feet, a staircase. Beyond the notion of turning back, you proceed down. All the while the mooing and mewing grows to a cacophonous roar. A lantern lights another entrance, guarded by a doorman with manure and cocaine on his fingertips. He asks if you know the word of entry, to which you reply, "Nay," and the door is opened. You find yourself in a sprawling drunken room filled with laughter and glee. For every one human, there are at least two furry friends waiting to be pet and fluffed. Goats, horses, pigs, sheep, cows, dogs, cats, giraffes--you wonder "How the hell did these madmen get this whole herd in here?" Unaware of who to ask, you reach forward, and you are reminded of the kinship of man and beast. Thanks.

A record by three people who feel lucky to call each other friends.

about

Countdown from Ten Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

We followed the trail of bread crumbs and this is where it led us; the southern city limits of Philadelphia. We play eerie, high energy music with uncommon rhythms and an abundance of grooves. CDFT is Ariel Golden (bass) Dan Getty (drums) and Cameron Davidson (guitar.)
